It’s that time of year again and, I’m sure most of you feel the same, but I’ve decided to jump right into the Christmas season. Yes, it might be a bit early, but we are ready for some Christmas cheer in the Young house!
One of the first things our family gets each year are our Christmas pajamas. The kids usually get special pjs to wear on Christmas Eve, but we typically get new sets for the whole family to wear during the majority of the holiday season as well.
This year, instead of doing your basic plaid, I thought it would be adorable to go with these hot air balloon printed pj sets for the whole family from Target. I’ve never seen anything like it before and it works so well for our family. It’s cute enough for the little ones without being too kiddish. Plus, those pjs paired with the adorable, fuzzy paw slippers for the boys and glittery moccasins for the girls makes it that much more fun for the kids.
I couldn’t help myself so after shopping at Target I hopped over to Old Navy and found some incredible deals going on right now. So, I decided to grab these Christmas sweater printed pjs pants with the “I Come Bearing Gifts” top for the kids and then I found matching pj pants for my husband and had to grab them. They have so many Christmasy graphic tees right now for adults! I was so excited when I found the same “I Come Bearing Gifts” tee for men, too! Sadly, I couldn’t find a perfectly matching set for women, but I fell in love with this adorable pink printed onesie so I decided to grab that one for me.
I’m thinking we’ll do the Old Navy pjs for the holiday season and then do something special with the hot air balloon sets. Maybe for Christmas Eve if I can wait that long! I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am to just set aside a lot of the heaviness that has been this year and just enjoy quality time with my family, cozied up by the fire in our matching pjs as we celebrate the birth of our Savior!
